This retro of the Reebok Kamikaze 1 from 2014 mimics an original colorway worn by NBA player Shawn Kemp. The colorway here keeps in line with the 1994-95 Seattle Supersonics team colors
The original version of this sneaker featured Hexalite technology, although I”m unsure if these have working Hexalite in them. This sneaker has retro’d multiple times since it’s debut in 1994.
The black and green nubuck play off the white leather in this basic basketball retro. Overall the quality here is fairly standard for this type of retro… nothing amazing, but solidly built.
The shoes feel like a good solid pair to go stomp around in to me. These came in a fairly large box with some black laces. True to size seems to work best as far as fit. These are a bit bulky and heavy on feet, but not entirely uncomfortable. Underfoot, these feel pretty sturdy and the cushiness, if any, is due to the padding on the upper and not the midsole.
